Flush-fitting hinged trims hide all fixings
A new size has been added to OKW's SMART-BOX range of advanced sealed enclosures for industrial electronics: 130 x 220 x 60 mm.
SMART-BOX is designed to enhance the aesthetics and ergonomics of industrial electronics such as HVAC, control and safety systems.
Design features include hinged flush-fitting trims to conceal and protect all the fixings. The high quality A2 stainless steel alloy screws are highly resistant to corrosion and aggressive substances.
The lid (which features plastic retaining straps) is recessed to accommodate a membrane keypad while the underside has space for product labels. Inside there are fastening pillars for PCBs and DIN rails.
SMART-BOX is manufactured from high quality robust ASA+PC (UL 94 V-0) to withstand demanding industrial environments. It is rated to IP 66. Gaskets are pre-fitted.
The enclosures are available in eight sizes ranging from 120 x 90 x 50 mm to 280 x 170 x 60 mm. The standard colour is Light Grey (RAL 7035) but custom colours are available on request. Prices start at £23.
Accessories include a key lock and security plugs to help prevent tampering; M6 and M10 pressure equalisation elements (IP 56); TPE and EPDM cable grommets (IP 67) and TPE case feet.
SMART-BOX and other OKW enclosures can be fully customised with CNC milling and drilling, printing or engraving of legends and logos, special finishes and assembly of components.
