New luminaires and lighting controls

A series of exciting new luminaires made their debut on the Aura light stand earlier in March at Light & Building 2016.

Making a move into architectural lighting for the first time, Aura Light displayed three innovative interior luminaires named Exzite, Propel and Lezzon, all designed and made in Sweden.

Based on Z-core technology for optimised cooling, the Exzite LED luminaire is customisable for the modern office, providing 65% direct and 35% indirect lighting.  There are different light distributions available and fittings can be changed aesthetically with different colour side plates, end plates and decorative screws.

Propel is a truly innovative and creative design of pendant luminaire for the office and comprises three separate different coloured luminaire modules which can be set at different angles for any combination of uplight and downlight.  This LED fitting is dimmable and can be fitted with daylight and presence detection for maximum energy saving.

Completing the trio is Lezzon, a stylish LED luminaire designed for schools and offices.  It too is based on Z-core technology for maximum heat dissipation and provides 65% direct and 35% indirect light.

Also shown in Aura Light’s Noral range was the new Indico road and street light luminaire.  This futuristic design is made in diecast aluminium with an impact resistant front glass.  Clever features for maintenance include opening without tools and automatic power cut-off when doing so.  This LED luminaire is IP66 rated and comes in various wattages with automatic night dimming.

Launched at the show too, was a brand new tunable white version of its award winning LED panel luminaire, Aura Lunaria.  This innovation allows the user to change the colour temperature from warm white to cool white, so controlling the environment as they wish.
Aura Light’s stand also became the stage for visitors to have a preview of its new smart lighting system which enables the user to monitor and control their lighting installations via web based software.  This gives greater energy savings and more control of the lighting system.
