Upgrade to classic Abox design

The Abox junction box from Spelsberg is a true design classic. It may not be held in such high regard as the Jaguar E-Type or the original iMac, but its chic aesthetics and incomparable performance has made it one of the most popular junction boxes in the UK.

In celebration of its continued popularity through the years, Spelsberg has extended the range so a greater number of electrical engineers and installers than ever before can benefit.

The range extension applied to the Abox 025 and Abox 040 models. The new, Abox m 025 and Abox m 040 are provided with metric knock-outs which allow installers to use cable glands to secure the entry points. In addition a new base design has been introduced for easier positioning during installation and one sidewall of the Abox m 040 features three knock-outs rather than the standard two.

The Abox is one of the staples of the Spelsberg range and is synonymous with easy installation and reliable performance. The range extension recognises the ever changing requirements of electrical installations and is intended to offer flexibility to customers to help them make secure connections for all of their applications.

The Abox range is available in a selection of sizes with halogen-free, polystyrene, polycarbonate construction providing protection against knocks. The enclosures are supplied with internal and external fixing points and optional mounting for terminals, models are also supplied with an injected, double-membrane seal which provides IP66 protection against water ingress.
