Socket & See RCD Tester
Test instrument manufacturer Socket & See has introduced another RCD tester, which is also fully compliant with the new Wiring Regulations.
In keeping with the tradition of Socket & See testers, the DRC 430 Full Function Digital RCD Tester is lightweight, easy to use and allows the engineer to stand at the consumer unit whilst re-setting the RCD.
The DRC 430 which is fully certified to BS EN 61557, offers all of the functions the user will ever need including:
Full auto test including result recall
Test AC (general purpose) 30mA, 100mA, 300mA and 500mA RCDs
Test ACS (selective) 100mA and 300mA RCDs
Test x ½, x 1, x 5, plus x 2 (new)
Full Ramp test to check what current point the RCD trips
Built in full socket wiring check
Accurate mains voltage measurement to latest BS 7697, HD 472 51
