Ansell Highbay Luminaire
Ansell Lighting has introduced the new Highbay luminaire which has been designed for industrial and commercial applications where sealed fittings are required. The housing, reflector and diffuser have been specially developed in order to provide a high ingress protection of IP65. Available in both 250W and 400W metal halide versions, it produces a high light output ratio to achieve compliance with the Carbon Trust.
Offering contractors and specifiers the advantages of attractive aesthetics and practical application, it can be
used in food manufacturing facilities, warehouses and industrial environments. Its high resistant PBT reinforced construction provides a lightweight fitting which does not corrode, making it suitable for use in humid and saline conditions.
The grey faceted polycarbonate reflector features a metalized internal surface which offers high efficiency to
enhance the levels of illumination, while the fitted protective clear polycarbonate diffuser not only produces
good light transmission but is also impact resistant. At the same time, the ribbed/finned extrusion is designed to dissipate heat in order to maintain the required operating temperature and to prolong lamp life.
