Emitex JDSU Validator Tester
Emitex has announced a new range of JDSU Validator Testers specifically designed for the installation and
maintenance of Ethernet systems.
The new range ensures the efficiency of these systems by verifying that Ethernet cables are running up to one gigabit in speed capacity, as per TIA 568/570 standards for CAT5E and CAT6.
JDSU’s Validator NT950 uses actual packets of data transmitted across the network at up to one gigabit
speed to confirm the system will work as desired rather than using estimated analogue performance
charts to ‘certify’ the system.
The Validator NT955 adds an active system maintenance component to the package. Both units incorporate patented Plan-Um™ software which allows the installer to plan the network, automatically
create wiring schedules, record and print the results.
