Ansell Volta Moulded PBT Floodlight
To provide a high quality, durable and low maintenance solution for exterior floodlighting applications, Ansell Lighting has recently introduced its Volta Moulded PBT Floodlight. This lightweight and compact luminaire offers a high strength resistance and is particularly suited for use within harsh environments.
The injected moulded housing is in a high impact resistant thermoplastic and is fitted with a silicon gasket. The safety screen diffuser is inject moulded UV stabilised polycarbonate which is shockproof and will not yellow with age. This enables it to retain its light transmission qualities throughout its life.
European manufactured High Frequency Control Gear has been installed within the fitting to achieve an energy efficient luminaire which provides immediate illumination as soon as the floodlight is turned on. The 57Watt PLT Lamp offers a white light solution that also gives excellent lamp life, thus reducing the need for frequent lamp changing.
The Volta is fitted with a silicone gasket to create an effective seal between the housing and the diffuser, which is retained by stainless steel screws, thus providing an effective seal, which is able to maintain the high IP66 ingress protection rating.
