Mercedes Vito Sport 115CDI
The new Vito Sport 115CDI from Mercedes is available in Brilliant Silver or Carbon Black paint colours, with the new model boasting an extensive specification that includes luxury touches such as cruise control, air-conditioning, a leather steering wheel and gearshift, and electric windows and mirrors.
Customers can choose from Compact or Long van versions, but the additional availability of a Long-bodied Dualiner Comfort variant, which features side windows with ‘privacy’ glass, child safety locks and seating for a driver and five passengers, means the latest addition to the Mercedes van range also appeals strongly to young families and those with an active lifestyle.
In standard trim the Vito has a gross weight of 2.77 tonnes and is available in three configurations – panel van, Dualiner or Traveliner minibus – each of which is available in two wheelbase variants (3200mm and 3430mm).
The Vito comes with a choice of three Euro 4 CDI common rail diesel engines based on the four-cylinder OM 646 CDI unit and spanning the power spectrum from 94hp to 150hp. As well as improving performance, the high-tech Piezo injectors fitted to these latest engines have also reduced both engine noise and fuel consumption. A six-speed manual gearbox is fitted as standard, while an automatic transmission is available as an option.
