Hazardous Area Equipment Eexe Flexible Conduit
Hazardous Area Equipment has launched its Eexe Flexible Conduit; a flexible, polyamide cable system
which meets the stringent requirements of the Atex directive.
The system has been approved according to Atex 95 for use in Zones 1 & 2 (gas/vapours) and 21, 22 (dust). This type of cable protection system not only prevents malfunction or breakdown of machines, vehicles and installations, but can be used in critical, potentially explosive environments such as refineries, oil, gas plants, mills and textile factories. Generally, the system should protect electrical cables chafing, compression, bending and other influences such as corrosion or weathering. Although a light but tough material, the conduit is easy to cut and install, reducing installation time and transportation costs and is quickly and easily formed around corners so that time consuming assembly procedures are not necessary.
The fittings are available with IP66 and IP68 ratings, depending on the connectors used.
