Help Make the Industry Safe from Arc Flash

TAS Engineering has launched a research project targeted at UK based Electrical Engineers, Safety & Compliance Managers, and are inviting the UK Engineering & Safety Professional community to take part.

The research is focused upon Electrical Arc Flash Safety Activity & Assessments, complete anonymity is ensured with regards to the issued findings.

The main reason for conducting this survey is to identify the current activities & attitudes about the Electrical Arc Flash Hazard. TAS are mailing to a database of 3,100 identified organisations in June 2008. There will be an impartial draw conducted after the closing date -20th of June 2008.The incentive offered is a choice of either:

 £250 Donation – to the Charity of participants choice or
 Driving ‘Experience’ Day – At a UK racetrack.

Following the collation & analysis of this information, the main aim is to share ‘Good Practice’ of Electrical Safety intelligence with UK wide industry peers, via:

 White Papers and Articles to industry publications – Sharing findings & identifying future ‘Best Practice’
 Conference, Seminars, Industry Associations meetings, Road Shows & Peer Forums.
