Flexicon Online Conduit Specification
Flexicon has now made it fast and simple for contractors to select the correct conduit specification for each application, thanks to its new, interactive website.
Customers visiting the new site can search for product information in a variety of ways; either by entering a known part number, by selecting the appropriate level of chemical resistance, by choosing the type of conduit system required or by specifying the application that it will operate in.
Users can then refine their search further by selecting the size and length of conduit required and, a further product filter details the appropriate fittings for the product type selected. In this way, users are guided,
step-by-step through the product selection process and can be confident that they have specified the appropriate conduit and fittings for the job, avoiding any unnecessary downtime on site.
A simple-to-use check sheet also displays trade prices and pack quantities for the conduit and fittings selected and allows contractors to print off a complete bill of materials that can be sent in advance to the electrical wholesaler.
Flexicon offers 39 flexible conduit systems and this new online facility makes it much easier for users to make an informed choice. As well as essential product and safety information, such as environmental performance and IP and exposure ratings, the new site also includes a variety of application guides and a new downloadable literature area.
In addition, the website provides an animated installation guide to the high-performance range of FPA fittings, which shows users how quick and simple it is to fit and remove the fittings thanks to the patented,
quick-release mechanism.
Flexicon will be adding an additional product search function shortly, which will direct users to the most suitable conduit for the application via a series of on-screen questions.
