HellermannTyton Metal Content Tie
HellermannTyton has launched a new releasable metal content tie to provide a more flexible cable management product for electrical contractors working within the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Featuring a quick and simple release mechanism, the releasable tie is ideal for installations that require the addition or removal of cables, or temporary applications. With no need to cut the ties to reduce or
increase the size of a cable bundle, the risk of small pieces of fragmented plastic contaminating the area is minimal, which is particularly important in the food and pharmaceutical sectors. The metal content releasable ties also reduce maintenance costs as there is no need to replace the cable ties when altering an installation.
Made from halogen free material, the tie is 250mm long and 4.6mm wide and has a minimum tensile strength of 200N. It can also be used in temperatures ranging from -40ºC to 85ºC.
