Scolmore CLICK Non-Standard Sockets
Scolmore International has announced the launch of its cleverly designed Non–Standard Sockets, the
latest addition to its comprehensive CLICK® electrical accessories range. The Non-Standard Sockets have been designed for use in public areas, such as hospitals, hotel corridors and schools where the general public should not be connecting their own appliances to the power supply.
On site appliances have plugs with non-standard pins, also part of Scolmore’s CLICK® range, that prevent the plug being used in a standard socket. This means that appliances or machines that are fitted with this plug can only be connected to the correct socket. In certain applications, such as hospitals, some sockets are equipped with emergency power supplies which, if fitted with Non-Standard Sockets, can be used to provide the power for life saving machines as a priority. Scolmore’s CLICK® Non-Standard Socket has been
designed for exclusive use with the CLICK® Non-Standard Plug.
