GreenBrook Connection Box
GreenBrook’s solutions-driven approach to product development has prompted the company to think outside the box when developing its CHOC30A Connection Box – quite literally! The result is the only Connection Box on the market with cable clamps outside the terminal chamber, which makes it much easier to clamp cables as well increasing the box’s internal space for connector and cables.
Designed to accommodate any 2-30 Amp terminal strips, the box features a specially designed tubular cradle to hold the terminal block within the box and its 50/50 box split makes it easy to fit the connector block into the body. Once terminals have been installed within the box, the product’s snap lid closes securely but its quick release feature allows contractors to open it again quickly and easily should they need to. Contractors can also opt to use the product’s additional security screws for further security if they wish.
The CHOC30A’s external cable clamps are pre-assembled on the Connection Box, saving contractors the fiddly and time-consuming task of assembling these themselves as they would typically have to do. What’s more, the specially designed reversible clamps ensure that the product is suitable for data installations as well as electrical cables. The box’s multiple fixing points are also positioned outside the terminal chamber, saving space within the box and making fixing much quicker and easier. These fixing points have even been designed so that contractors can either hang the boxes or fix them to posts with cable ties.
