Helvar T8 Electronic Ballasts
Helvar has launched the EL-ngn product family, a range of completely new non-dimmable electronic ballasts for T8 lamps. A next generation product, the EL-ngn is cost-effective, reliable and suitable for the exacting lighting demands in offices, schools and hospitals as well as demanding temperature conditions, as it can perform equally well in cold storage facilities or warm conditions.
The EL-ngn product family is compact in size and built for reliability and a long operational life. It is available in one physical size - a useful design feature for luminaire designers and manufacturers – and the light construction and compact size decreases logistical costs and contributes to the overall protection of the environment. It is also designed for ease-of-use, and is fast and cost-efficient to install and wire during the luminaire assembly process.
The casing is manufactured from hot galvanised steel with no chemical surface treatment or painting used during production. The EL-ngn is classified to energy efficiency standard EEI=A2: the highest possible for non-dimmable electronic ballasts.
