All Change at Eaton
Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation has announced key leadership changes in its Electrical Group in Europe. Theo Kubat will retire as chief executive officer of Eaton’s Moeller business and Richard Boulter has been named president of that business. Boulter will assume all of Kubat’s leadership responsibilities as of 1st November 2008.
Boulter currently serves as Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) vice president and general manager for Eaton’s Power Components and Systems business. Eaton acquired The Moeller Group in April 2008 and it became part of Eaton’s global electrical business.
“Theo Kubat has had a long and successful career with the Moeller business and has led the organisation to premier status in the EMEA electrical distribution and control markets,” said Tom Gross, president of Eaton’s Power Quality and Controls Business. “He was instrumental in the significant growth achieved by this business, success that ultimately positioned it to make a strong contribution to Eaton. We appreciate his leadership and wish him all the best.”
Gross added, “We are pleased to have someone with Richard Boulter’s leadership skills at the helm of our Moeller business. His power distribution experience and local knowledge of markets in Germany and throughout Europe will help us achieve our goals for quality, customer satisfaction and growth.”
Boulter joined Eaton in 2007 after serving 15 years with Siemens, where he held a number of general management and sales positions in Germany, the United States, and China. Boulter holds a Higher National Certificate (HNC) and Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) in electrical and electronic engineering from Loughborough University.
