Chloride Acquires P.E.S.
Chloride, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and services, announced today that it has acquired Power and Electronic Services (PES), a leading supplier of critical power protection solutions. Chloride will now have a physical presence in Ireland to address the growing needs of the country’s power protection industry.
Founded in 2003, PES focuses on all critical power requirements for the Irish market and has a significant installed base that includes the Bank of Ireland and a host of other financial services organisations throughout the country. By acquiring PES, Chloride is now in a stronger position to improve its service to both its existing customers and the existing PES installed base. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems are invaluable to not only prevent loss of information but also the systems themselves, which is extremely damaging to the bottom line of any organisation. Chloride solutions are installed in a wide-variety of institutions that rely heavily on business continuity including large data centres, DVLA, high street banks as well as many of the world’s renowned investment banks based at Canary Wharf.
