Heat Electric, The RFC2 tamper proof controller
Heat Electric has launched two new controllers aimed at the rental and building and facilities management market. Designed to conserve energy and reduce heating bills, the new control systems deliver heat when and where needed within boundaries pre-set by the landlord or building manager.
Used in conjunction with Heat Electric’s range of water filled electric radiators, the new controllers are ideal for use in student accommodation, self catering properties and hotels where heat demand varies depending on occupancy, occupants’ needs and where users have no vested interest in minimising energy
consumption.
The RFC2 tamper proof controller provides heat on demand with the entire heating system activated by a wireless, one touch control pad. Once switched on each radiator is programmed to achieve a specific ‘comfort’ temperature (between 18ºC and 25ºC) for a set time period (min 15 minutes and max two hours) before reverting to a setback temperature (no heating, 4ºC, 12ºC or 16ºC), with all variables pre-set by the landlord or building manager.
