The keynote address at the HazardEx 2009 Conference will be Gordon MacDonald, the recently appointed director of the Hazardous Installations Directorate of the Health and Safety Executive. MacDonald will present his address on the first day of the conference, which is being held at the Majestic Hotel, Harrogate, UK on February 25th and 26th.

This comprehensive two-day conference at this year’s show includes speakers from leading end-user companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, Ineous Chlor, Corus, Airbus and BAE Systems. The papers will give those involved in safety for manufacturing and process plant a clear insight -- using case study examples -- into how their peers in a variety of industry sectors have executed safety programmes in their facilities. As always the programme will provide detailed standards/legislation updates directly from those involved in the process of creating them.
