EA Technology Polarity Test Kit
New from EA Technology Instruments, the Polarity Test Kit enables engineers to identify live Low Voltage (LV) conductors accurately and in complete safety.
The kit comprises two parts - a Polarity Test Pen plus a Test Pen Checker, which automatically confirms that the pen is working correctly by simulating the electrical field produced by a live conductor.
Unlike general purpose conductor testers, the Polarity Test Pen is accurately calibrated so that its light and buzzer will only activate when the tip of the instrument is within 3mm of the live core of a standard 3mm conductor.
It can therefore discriminate between individual live and non-live conductors and does not require current flow in the live conductor. Powered by two AAA batteries, it works with all standard 220-250V 50/60Hz supplies.
