Kalestead, multi-core cables
A process developed by custom cables specialist Kalestead, has enabled the production of multi-core cables combining outstanding strength with resistance to extremely high temperatures and chemical attack.
Originally developed in direct response to a customer specification, the first use of this technology was in a custom cable designed to interface between a control system and multiple lubrication motors in heavy-duty diesel engines. It has since been applied to a variety of other cables including multiple core types, and those
with individual screening against core interaction and external interference.
