Honeywell DT90 Thermostats
The new Honeywell DT90 range of digital room thermostats cut fuel bills, help the environment and can help prevent hypothermia among the elderly. The DT90E and DT92E are wired and wireless versions of the same advanced thermostat, which is very easy to use and features a compact slimline design with an ultra clear, extra large digital display.
The Honeywell DT90E and DT92E provide more accurate temperature control than traditional home thermostats and uniquely also match boiler firing to the load on the system, so the boiler operates much more efficiently. These are due to their TPI (Time Proportional and Integral) advanced energy saving control. TPI increases boiler efficiency by adjusting firing duration with demand and maintains room temperatures around the set point - an advantage over all other domestic room thermostats using simple on/off control.
They can be used on any boilers, with radiator and underfloor systems, electric heating and zoned heating systems. Heating and hot water accounts for over 80% of total household energy usage, so the Honeywell DT90E and DT92E can make a great contribution to cutting home energy bills.
