JCC Fireguard GU9 and GX53
Commercial and domestic electrical installers now have an even wider choice of low energy fully tested fire-rated downlights with the addition of the new Fireguard GU9 and GX53 low energy downlights from leading lighting manufacturer, JCC Lighting.
The compact Fireguard GU9 CFL utilises a high performance lamp and fixture combination designed to exceed 45 lumens per watt as a complete package. The fixture comes complete with a 9W Megaman low energy lamp that lasts an average of 15,000 hours. In addition to the GU9, the new GX53 is ideal for installations with a reduced void, thanks to its shallow depth. Both luminaires have dedicated lamp bases that ensure they fully comply with Part L of the Building Regulations, aiding energy efficiency.
To complement the Fireguard range, JCC has also introduced a passive infrared (PIR) occupancy detector fixture. This high quality module controls lighting efficiently, helping to save energy by detecting when a room is unoccupied for a period of time and switching the lights off accordingly. It contains a fully user adjustable time setting, is pre-wired for easy installation and can be connected to any domestic lighting system.
These latest fire-rated downlights are suitable for all domestic and commercial applications, with the added peace of mind that they are from the Fireguard range. This means you can rest assured that they have been independently tested for all 30, 60 and 90 minute ceiling types, as well as 30 and 60 minute I-joists.
