Brady BBP11 Thermal Transfer Printer
The new Brady BBP11 thermal transfer printer, which is supplied and supported by specialist distributor Takbro, provides a compact, convenient and cost effective solution for producing cable markers, components labels, standard and 2D barcode labels, printed sleeves, printed tapes, identification tags and many other similar items.
The versatility of the new printer, which is compatible with an extensive range of media up to five inches wide, means that it is no longer necessary to use different printers for different tasks. The result is big savings in initial costs, running costs and in the space needed to accommodate the printers.
Featuring robust dual-wall construction, the BBP11 printer from Takbro uses high quality thermal transfer printing at a resolution of 200 dpi for standard applications, and 300 dpi for special applications such as the printing of 2D barcodes. Single button operation eliminates confusion and guarantees ease of use.
Ideal for low and medium volume use, the unit offers fast, simple calibration and a print speed of up to five inches per second, combined with high printing accuracy which ensures that high productivity and excellent results are achieved and maintained throughout even the longest print run.
Most types of media for use with the printer are supplied by Takbro in rolls with one-inch cores, an economical format that minimises wastage. The printer can, however, also be used with roll fed media on three-inch cores, and with fan-fold media.
For ease of interfacing, the BBP11 printer is equipped with a triple interface that supports USB, parallel and serial connections, allowing the printer to be used with almost any type of computer. An Ethernet interface is also included as standard, which means that the BBP11 can be used as a network printer that can be accessed from multiple computers.
