Slim style
Electric radiators have just got sexy with the UK launch of a new brand that, at just over an inch thick, is set to tick the design, environmental and performance boxes of style-conscious users.
NEEDO is an ultra thin, ultra modern range of energy efficient electric radiators and heating systems that are both great looking thanks to futuristic design and completely user friendly.
Not only do NEEDO radiators reach the required temperature twice as quickly as any normal panel, storage or wet system heater, their heat diffusion is more efficient and each radiator can be controlled independently by portable wireless control.
"With NEEDO we aim to deliver great heating performance, great product design/ergonomics and great respect for the environment," said Salvatore Cirasuolo, managing director of IntelliHeat, the sole UK agent for NEEDO and Massimo Pavan Zoppas. "These radiators not only look fabulously cutting edge, they are simple to control and have an ingenious anti-dust and anti-dirt system inbuilt. They easily meet Building Regulations governing zoning and offer users the maximum comfort for the minimum energy use.
"NEEDO use up to 25% less energy, combining performance, design, ergonomics and respect for the environment with a totally recyclable, high-performance heating fluid that has no effect on global warming or the ozone layer," added Mr Cirasuolo.
NEEDO radiators are available in a range of 9 colours and 5 styles, from more traditional horizontal and vertical super thin versions (which can be installed to tilt away from the wall to aid cleaning), to the ultra-modern Monolithe range, which is freestanding, mobile and includes a lighting system.
In addition there is NEEDO towel rails that swivel on the central axis to improve drying capacity.
"With NEEDO it really is possible to have designer electric radiators that are super thin, economic to run, highly efficient and independently controllable/programmable from your armchair. Not only do they heat up almost immediately, real-time monitoring of their power usage allows users to better control energy bills," added Mr Cirasuolo.
