Perceived high running costs have meant that Electric Space heating has generally been considered as a last resort. Times are changing.
New and refurbished buildings are now required to have significantly increased levels of insulation and less air infiltration both reducing heating requirements and running costs. Electric Heaters have low capital cost, low installation cost, accurate and responsive control with virtually no maintenance or service requirements. They are fit and forget!
For warehouses and workshops with high roofs, a combination unit that can recycle high level heated air and add extra heat provides a simple cost effective heating solution.
The Commercial Electric Heat CUHW Heavy Duty Workshop Heater combines heater, fan and control in one unit. Mounted at high level with a vertical direction of airflow, it is controlled by a unit mounted de-stratification thermostat and remote mounted room thermostat. In high volume buildings with high roofs the CUHW can be supplemented by the CDF range of De Stratification Fans.
CUH units are available at loadings from 3.3kW to 40kW single and three phase. The CDFs have airflows from 2150m3/hr to 7000 m3/hr
