Mini drill stripper

Wright Engineers demonstrated an interesting solution to the problem of wasted cabling at ELEX in Coventry. The company has introduced the Mini Drill Stripper which can be attached to most makes of drill, to strip small lengths of cable. This means that electricians can collect small, otherwise discarded lengths of cable from site, to recover the copper.

The unit itself needs no power. Its main applications include the stripping of twin and earth, PVC, and single cables and it has a cutting capacity of between 1 and 25mm.
