Newey & Eyre scores a perfect ten for performance with contractors
According to a new survey, leading electrical wholesaler, Newey & Eyre has been revealed as the UK’s top performing distributor for providing an added value service to the large contracting market.
The latest independent report by the UK’s leading research body for the construction and building services sector, BSRIA, was recently commissioned by 16 of the UK’s most influential M&E contractors in order to gauge a greater insight into the performance of key suppliers within the mechanical and electrical sectors.
Focusing on the lighting category, distributors and manufacturers were evaluated against a tough criteria of key performance indicators (KPIs), covering everything from performance to specification, the provision of technical information and lighting design.
Widely considered the key requirement of any distributor, Newey & Eyre outperformed all others in the ‘added value’ category, receiving the highest score from respondents, with a substantial third scoring a ‘perfect ten’. As further testament to the company’s service levels, an additional third also commended Newey & Eyre branches and their approach to project management as excellent.
