New fan range helps keep the noise down
The new QuietAir range of fans from Airflow sets new standards for powerful, yet highly efficient ventilation in the home, with the added benefit of having a sound level of just 25 dB(A).
Many toilet and bathroom fans are wired to the light circuit and come on whenever the light is switched on. However, QuietAir’s eco start technology waits to activate the fan for two minutes after the room is occupied, avoiding unnecessary energy usage. At only 5 watts power consumption it is also significantly more efficient than many comparable fans.
The fans also feature a discreet clip on, wipe clean cover that blends with existing decor.
The use of a ball bearing motor also extends fan life in excess of 40,000 hours. A benefit for social housing installations, where long term reliability and low level maintenance and whole life costings are an important issue.
A unique feature available in QuietAir is the ‘Room Refresh’ option for rooms that do not get regular use the ‘Interval Timer’ can be programmed to automatically activate the fan for the duration of the timer setting, every 4, 8, 12 or 24 hours.
