Keep a close eye on energy consumption
Megaman UK is now the sole distributor of Eco-Eye, a monitor for domestic and commercial use that provides concise information on electricity consumption.
Made up of three units - a sensor, a transmitter and a receiver covering a 30- 50m range - Eco-Eye is said to be easy to set up by clipping the sensor straight onto the main electricity supply cable, without the need for professional installation. The compact, freestanding receiver has an LCD display and is battery operated (2 x AA) but can also be used with an AC/DC adaptor.
The unit will display the cost of electricity consumption in £, $ or €, by hour, day, week, month or year. In addition the monitor will also display energy consumption in kW as well as CO2 emissions in kg per month. Eco-Eye can also display historical data of electricity used in current hour and previous hours, days, weeks, months or years.
