Simple to install- Automatic lighting and CCTV solution
Challengers SLDC2 is a self-contained and fully automatic PIR flood light with in built CCTV camera – a great security solution for a domestic dwelling or a commercial property.
It is ideal as a simple retrofit replacement operating day or night; simple to install and easy to set-up, and has a number of improvements over its predecessor; the SLDC1.
The in built 3 mega pixel SD Card can store video footage of up to 1,700 video clips, 10,000 still images, or a combination of both which can be removed for viewing on a laptop or computer. It can also be permanently connected for direct download to a computer via the USB cable allowing footage to be viewed in real time.
Each picture and video is time and date stamped which may be required in case of a prosecution.
The size of the video clip is adjustable between 10 seconds and 60 seconds so the end user can control how long the recordings are.
In addition, the resolution has been improved from 2 mega pixels to 3 mega pixels providing high quality useable images once the recordings have taken place.
There is a microphone built into the under side of the unit ensures that sound is recorded to assist with the video evidence.
The SLDC2 has an array of new and improved features, from those mentioned, to a DOT matrix LCD backlit display, a battery back up so in the event of a mains failure the information will remain in the system, an LED light to confirm recording and an adjustable bracket – all of which make the Challenger SLDC2 a simple to install CCTV / Lighting solution.
