Click Scolmore celebrates 20 years
This year Click Scolmore is celebrating its 20th anniversary and 2010 promises to deliver continued success for the company which is currently enjoying one of its best periods of trading. A raft of new products and promotions planned for the year and some major business developments yet to be announced will ensure that this anniversary year will see substantial growth for the business.
The company has grown significantly in size and reputation since it was founded in 1990 by Chairman, Barry Mordue and his son Gary, the current Managing Director. Back then they supplied 13A UK three pin plug tops from a small warehouse in Tamworth in the West Midlands. Still a family-run business, Click Scolmore is today one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of electrical accessories and lighting products and operates from its 100,000sq ft purpose-built Head Office and Distribution Centre.
A reputation for high quality products, innovation, competitive pricing and excellent service has been built up over the years and has earned the company numerous awards along the way.
The brand remains the number one choice with contractors and installers who value the flexibility and ‘one-stop solution’ that Click’s comprehensive product range allows. Recent innovations include additions to the MiniGrid range - which now allows for up to 18 different switching functions to be incorporated onto a single plate - and the New Media plates and modules which provide a neat solution to the growing media and power cabling requirements. Further new product developments are planned for 2010 with launches in the electrical accessories and lighting sectors bringing even more choice to Click Scolmore’s customers.
