Merlin Power Management's purchase of Eastleigh Power strengthen's its UK position
Merlin Power Management, part of the shentongroup, has today announced that it has completed the purchase of standby power company, Eastleigh Power, in a deal which will further enhance the group’s position as a leading provider of integrated power services. The acquisition and integration of the two companies means that Merlin will now be able to access previously untapped resources and customers.
Merlin Power Management is renowned for offering a range of integrated power services to its varied customer base. These include power analysis and consultancy, relocation and refurbishment, rental of generators and UPS, refuelling and installation services as well as generator customisation and decommissioning. It also provides load bank testing, the installation and repair of bulk fuel storage as well as the routine and emergency maintenance of generators, UPS, rectifiers and DC batteries.
Commenting Richard Meek, Chairman of Merlin’s parent company shentongroup said: “This purchase further cements our position in the UK standby power market. Established in 1980, Eastleigh Power has built up a substantial UK customer base by providing a range of services that include generator hire and servicing, CHP systems and power systems hardware leasing.
