Brand-Rex Voted Structured Cabling Provider of the Year for Second Year Running
Leading global cable and data solutions company Brand-Rex, has been voted Structured Cabling Provider of the Year 20010 in the Network Computing Awards. The award was voted for by readers of Network Computing Magazine from a shortlist of major structured cabling manufacturers. The ceremony took place in the Guoman Tower Hotel in London on 4th March 2010, following a final round of on-line voting to decide the winners.
On winning the award, Ian Wilkie, Business & Marketing Director at Brand-Rex said, "We are delighted to receive this award for the second year running. 2009 was a successful year for Brand-Rex with the launch of many new and exciting products including the High Density Fibre System, designed for data centres and telecoms rooms and the unique Cat6Plus ½ U Patch Panel. Brand-Rex was awarded many high profile contracts with the likes of Cable & Wireless, BT and Audi in a year which saw the company strengthen its sales force around the world to cope with increasing market share.

Network Computing magazine is read by 17,500 industry professionals who buy and use networking hardware, software and related services. The Network Computing Awards were launched to recognise the products, services and companies that have particularly impressed readers of the magazine. 2010 saw the 4th annual Network Computing Awards take place with more than 20,000 votes cast on-line.
