Metering solutions for Part L2 requirements
To help installers provide the best solution to meet Part L2 of the Building Regulations, Newey & Eyre has added a selection of Type B distribution boards and metering options to its product offerings.
Part L2 of the Building Regulations applies to all non-domestic premises with a floor area greater than 500m2 for both new build and retrofit projects. Part L2 demands that commercial property owners and occupiers can account for 90% of the building’s energy consumption through metering, sub-metering and monitoring processes.
The new range of intelligent metering equipment and software available will allow operators to obtain a more detailed measurement of their energy consumption to highlight where savings can be made. They will also be able to cut energy bills through good energy management.
