Focus on energy saving luminaires
Greenstep Lighting has been launched to concentrate on the supply of luminaires that reduce energy consumption. it, therefore, specialises in the manufacture of lighting products that will reduce the carbon footprint of users. Its product range encompasses High Bay, Low Bay and Floodlight luminaires that incorporate the latest in environmentally sound lamp and control gear technology, with no compromise in performance or light output.
Part of the Greenstep range of luminaires have been designed for use with metal halide lamps operating with a unique dimmable control gear that provides high lumen levels, longer lamp life, faster warm up time and good colour uniformity. The luminaires can be linked to detectors that monitor ambient light levels and movement in equal measure. This can achieve energy savings of up to 50%.
Included in the Greenstep range is EcoSense, a Low Bay luminaire for use in industrial applications. Incorporating a built-in PIR that is activated when the lamp reaches full output, EcoSense will reduce energy consumption by 50% by monitoring ambient light levels and movement together.
