The future for efficient lighting
At the Light + Building event in Frankfurt, OSRAM hopes to showcase its vision for the future of sustainable, efficient lighting. It will be demonstrating the latest lighting innovations that are available for homes, offices, shops and urban applications. In addition to proven solutions such as halogen and compact fluorescent lamps, the focus will also be on LED and organic light-emitting diodes (OLED).
OSRAM offers a range of consumer lighting solutions that help reduce energy consumption. New compact fluorescent lamps that emit a warm comfort light or are completely dimmable with energy savings of up to 80% will make it easier to replace incandescent lamps that are being phased out by the EU. Halogen ECO lamps are also an available alternative and provide energy savings of 30%. In addition, OSRAM’s latest PARATHOM LED retrofit lamps demonstrate that the switch from traditional lighting solutions to the LED lamps can be done quickly and easily thanks to standard E27 and E14 bases.
Fluorescent tubes have long been the mainstay of the industrial and office environment. In addition to OSRAM’s new LUMILUX fluorescent tubes, it has also developed an LED solution that can replace conventional fluorescent tubes.
