A massive effort for special needs
Debt, bankruptcy, unemployment and high utility bills are just some of the stressful issues that many families have to contend with as a result of the downturn in the economy.
This trend has been reflected in an increased number of calls for help that EEIBA, our industry charity, receives each day. Calls for ‘traditional’ requests for assistance, continue as before, which is resulting in these additional calls putting a strain on welfare resources.
To ensure that assistance can be given to as many people as possible, a special effort is being made by EEIBA branches across the UK, to raise additional funds so as to help beneficiaries receive the support that they so desperately need.EEIBA’s website lists all of the events scheduled to take place during the coming months, so go to

There are Golf tournaments, fishing days, ladies evenings, a boxing event Christmas parties, lunches and balls – and they are all are organised for your enjoyment and to provide funds to help those colleagues who are in need.We do realise that times are tough for many people, but EEIBA has to continually ask for your support, so please spare a thought for those who have fallen upon difficult times and help us to help them. We really will be extremely grateful and we know that they will too!
