Stylish LED emergency lighting system
The new Stairlight emergency escape lighting system from P4 incorporates high output low consumption white LEDs within the staircase handrail, offering an aesthetic appealing solution in difficult to fit areas such as atriums, negating the need for emergency luminaires to be fitted to walls and ceilings.
The high level of illuminance and good lighting uniformity combine to eliminate unlit areas on stair treads and half landings. Providing, typically, 50,000 hours of operating life, the Stairlight system can be retrofitted to existing staircases or integrated into a new build. It can even be considered for mains operation to add creativity to areas of high night time visibility.
