Fluke is offering a starter kit for electricians entering the field of PAT testing. For a limited period, UK customers can purchase a 6500 Portable Appliance Tester starter kit at the same price as the Fluke 6500 alone. The kit includes all the accessories required to carry out professional PAT testing services.
The rugged all-in-one Fluke 6500 PAT tester features all the required tests necessary to comply with the most recent revisions to the IET Code of Practice and conforms to safety standard EN61010.
The Fluke 6500/Basic Kit includes the automatic Fluke 6500 PAT tester with pre-set and user-programmable test sequences that are initiated from a single button. The 6500 features an integral QWERTY keyboard for rapid data entry plus a large backlit graphics display for showing help screens and detailed data formats. A Compact Flash memory facility enables backing up of the internal memory and speedy transfer of measurement data to a PC. The kit also includes Fluke PowerPAT Plus management software, which can be used to store the records from a number of sites and produce separate reports for each site, appliance PASS labels and an extension lead test adaptor.
