Handy facts for electrical contractors from AICO

Following the success of its Handybook, Aico has introduced a new Electrical Contractors Handyfacts mini magnetic booklet covering all the frequently needed information on Fire, Smoke and Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarms .

New handyfacts now available

The credit card sized Handyfacts has been designed to be kept in a contractor's toolbox or pocket, as a quick reminder of best practice. It covers which alarm types to use in different areas of a property, explains siting requirements with clear diagrams and also gives details on wiring and accessories.

The Handyfacts explains the options that are available when it comes to alarm interconnection, including both hard-wiring and Aico's own RadioLINK Professional system which uses Radio Frequency signals to link alarms.

RadioLINK Professional has the advantages that it reduces installation time, costs and disruption associated with hard-wired interconnection.

The Handyfacts is ideal as a memory refresher, but for contractors wanting even more detail Aico recommends its Electrical Contractors Handybook which expands on all the topics covered in the Handyfacts.

Copies of the Electrical Contractors Handyfacts and Electrical Contractors Handybook are available from Aico by calling 0870 758 4000.
