Supervised power supply that won’t blow a fuse
The new supervised power supply range from Challenger is housed in a metal enclosure and is supplied in a range of amp versions, including 1, 2, 3 & 5 Amp. Input voltage is 230VAC with a filtered and electronically regulated 13.8VDC output.
For safety, each power supply output is protected by a PPTC thermal fuse, which does not need to be replaced in the event of a short circuit. You simply remove power, rectify the fault and switch back on. The fuse resets itself.
The range comes complete with a built in charger for sealed lead acid or gel type batteries that can be adjusted to charge at 200mA or 400mA.
The power supplies can be used with or without the option of battery backup to power equipment such as external or internal sounders, detection devices such as beam detectors and PIR’s, and can also be used to trickle charge sealed lead acid batteries.
