Subsidised low energy lamps- scheme closes within 6months

So far over 150,000 lamps have been supplied via the Lighting Association; the subsidy from E.ON has enabled the lamps to be sold at a massive discount.

More than 350 Retailers have taken advantage of EELS and they can now establish a competitive edge with energy efficient lamps. The Association are also working with the British Hardware Federation to ensure these high quality, low cost lamps reach the widest audience possible.

The lamps are all Energy Savings Trust Recommended and are supplied in a range of cap types (including SBC), wattages and sizes.

Peter Hunt, CEO of the Lighting Association said: "Independent retailers should take advantage of this great offer while the subsidy is available. Finally independent retailers can also have access to high quality EST approved CFLs at an amazing price. This is an offer not to be missed.
