Backlight power for illuminated advertising
OSRAM introduces BACKlight POWER, the right solution for illuminated advertising. Featuring OSRAM’s highly efficient LED technology, BACKlight POWER is ideal for illuminating complex signage shapes and benefits from being versatile, robust and extremely durable. With this innovation, OSRAM completes its product portfolio of backlighting products for the mid-range segment.
With an excellent luminous efficacy 60 lm/W, each BACKlight Power module consumes only 34W to provide bright white light (colour temperature 6,500K). One module comprises an LED chain with 30 boards that can be cut every three boards. Each board is equipped with two OSRAM Advanced Power TOPLED Plus LEDs. These LEDs have been specifically designed to meet today’s backlighting needs and pack outstanding brightness into a powerful package making them idea for applications that require bright, homogeneous light in a confined space.
BACKlight Power is simple to install with easy connection to the control gear which dramatically reduces maintenance costs. It also features a protective coating which prevents it from being damaged by moisture or condensation and is dimmable via pulse width modulation (PWM).
BACKlight POWER completes OSRAM’s range of LED solutions for illuminated advertising and backlighting. While BACKlight Protect is designed for small, narrow structures and DRAGONchain designed for very large profile letters and light boxes, BACKlight Power bridges the gap from small to large applications.
