Wide range of Alpha Wire Mil-spec cable stocked at Aerco

As a franchised distributor of Alpha Wire, the cable and wire division of Aerco now offers an extensive range of Mil-spec, high-performance cable designed to meet the demands of the modern military that is highly reliant on top class electronic equipment and networking systems.

Based in New Jersey, Alpha Wire, a division of Belden Wire and Cable, manufactures military grade cable and wire for tactical and communications equipment, command and control and intelligence information systems, advanced radar units, target acquisition and tracking systems, automated weapons control, IED and mine detection, high level detection equipment, ground combat vehicles and unmanned vehicles.

Products include Supra-Shield cable that has a three-layer construction to provide exceptional shielding over a wide range of frequencies and Xtra-Guard, a range of cable manufactured in several grades to give the best match between cost and performance. Five different versions are available to meet different specifications from general-purpose applications to versions with varying degrees of protection against abrasion, oils, fuels, solvents and other chemicals and temperature. For extra-high temperature applications Manhattan™ high temperature cable is MIL-DTL-27500 Types TE and RC qualified with a temperature range from -55ºC to +200ºC.

Completing the range is FIT Mil-spec heat shrink tubing that uses PVC for 30% more strength than standard polyolefin and a range of Mil-spec hook-up wire that is available in a variety of insulations and is able to withstand wear and abrasion and resistant to oil, solvents and chemicals.
