Battery Tester with Printed Colour Display
LCR Hallcrest Limited is pleased to announce the launch of a new intelligent Battery Tester - The revolutionary design which is printed onto a thin, lightweight, flexible plastic strip incorporates an electric circuit which measures battery performance with a colour display lighting up to show the strength of the battery.
This groundbreaking design uses thermochromic Leuco dyes in the capacity testing of batteries. The electrical circuit is printed with conductive inks that measures battery capacity and is integrated with a thermochromic display that ‘lights up’ to indicate battery power displayed as a dramatic colour change showing the strength of the battery – Replace, OK, or Good.
This printed electronic tester is designed to test the most prevalent 1.5V and 9V batteries frequently used and commonly found in the home and office. Offering true utility and value, it provides quick, easy and reliable testing of the various sizes and shapes of 1.5V and 9V batteries and can be used time and time again.
It is a robust plastic strip measuring 120mm x 28.5mm that has no mechanical or moving parts and will provide years of service. It can be stored in a draw or toolbox. Simply contact the battery terminals to the battery tester where indicated and read the coloured display.
A fast convenient method to “Test Before You Replace” those batteries that have been sitting in the kitchen or office draw or tool box. Fitting easily into small spaces such as camera bags and travel kits it is completely portable.
