New organisations and new trade for TrustMark
Certass has just been approved by the TrustMark Board as a new Scheme Operator, enabling them to recruit firms into the scheme for the trades of Glaziers and Conservatory Erectors. Certass stands for Certification and Assessment and is one of the Government's licensed Competent Person Schemes. It is a legal requirement that all domestic replacement window and/or door installations are registered with Local Authority Building Control (LABC) and installers can self certify these installations.
Yet another Local Authority in London has joined TrustMark as a Scheme Operator, enabling any firms operating in the authority to join TrustMark and to be associated with Enfield Council as an approved and inspected business. Trading Standards within the authority are running the scheme on TrustMark's behalf.
