Legrand has appointed Paul Clarke as sales director of its power distribution division
Paul, who was previously Electrak’s national sales manager, will take responsibility for all sales activity across the division, which incorporates Zucchini’s full busbar and transformer offering, the complete workplace power distribution range of Electrak, and all of Legrand’s own power products.
The power distribution division was formed in 2010 as part of an operational split by Legrand that also saw the formation of specialist cable management and wiring device divisions. All three were created to underpin the company’s ‘powered by specialists’ strategy, the aim of which is to highlight the full-scope of Legrand’s specialist credentials and industry leading expertise. The cable management and wiring device divisions have their own sales directors in Jeff Platt and Malcolm Graham respectively.
Commenting on his new role, Paul said: “As with cable management and wiring devices, the power distribution division has a dedicated sales force, product catalogue and unrivalled wealth of sector experience. And in Electrak and Zucchini, we have two of the biggest names in the market.”
“Therefore, my challenge is very much about underscoring this level of expertise and getting across the benefits of dealing with one company for all aspects of power distribution specification, delivery and installation.”
