Versatile IP66 Aluminium Push-Button Enclosures
ROLEC has introduced its versatile ‘conTROL’ series of aluminium enclosures for housing a very wide range of electrical equipment. Typical applications will include machine and process control equipment, switch boxes, terminal boxes and safety equipment etc.
These enclosures are manufactured from diecast aluminium in four standard sizes from 130 x 85 x 55mm to 180 x 85 x 78 mm. The cases are powder painted in silky grey, RAL 7032. A wide variety of alternative colours and finishes can also be supplied on demand to suit different applications.
The lid section has a deep recess which has been designed for fitting push-button controls, on/off switches and variable controls. The deep recess acts as protection from accidental operation of the controls. The lid is secured to the base with captured corrosion proof stainless steel fixing screws. All models are rated to IP66 protection class, or IP67 with a special gasket.
The ‘conTROL’ enclosures can be easily modified with mounting holes for cable glands, interconnections, switches and display units. M4 and M6 threaded screw bosses are provided on the inside of the lid and base for mounting assemblies, terminal rails, or
PCBs. Accessories include external mounting brackets, mounting plates, lid hinges, and cable glands. Standard prices start at £29.
ROLEC can supply the ‘conTROL’ enclosures with additional holes for push-buttons, connectors and cable glands etc., plus silk-screen printed legends and logos.
