Facina introduce their first fully digital, wireless CCTV system
Facina have responded to the rise in popularity of wireless CCTV by introducing a fully digital, portable wireless observation system. Aimed at small retail premises or domestic applications, the versatility of the system is a main feature.
The new VKFWK1 uses advanced Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology to greatly reduce interference from other wireless devices such as WIFI, Bluetooth and cordless DECT phones. For security & privacy, images are digitised, compressed into MJPEG format & can only be viewed on the monitor which has been ‘paired’ with each camera. Both internal camera & monitor have in-built rechargeable Li On batteries enabling rapid deployment for situations requiring immediate surveillance or for where camera positions regularly require changing. Plug in transformers are also included, for more permanent applications & for recharging batteries. Although supplied with 1 internal camera, up to 4 cameras can be used on each system with additional internal or external camera readily available. Each camera has infra red Illumination with the external camera boasting up to 15mtr coverage. Motion detection is provided by in-built PIR motion sensors on each camera. Recordings are made on to the 3.5” LCD monitor via the supplied 2GB SD card with a recording resolution of 640 x 480 (VGA). Quad, sequential switching or single camera views can be obtained through the monitor which also has the added benefit of an AV output, which enables connection to a TV via the supplied cable.
